Description: This small weaving is possibly half of a saddle blanket made of handspun wool with natural and vegetal colors. The saddle blanket is one of the only types of Navajo weavings that are still made for use by the Navajo themselves. Typically such weavings have a fairly simple pattern that incorporates stripes and basic geometric shapes.
