The Sìwā culture developed at the Holocene optimum in the Hexi corridor of Gansu Province(comma) later a part of the Silk Road. Their ceramics were noted for an elegant simplicity and for the (马鞍口) Mă ān kŏu(comma) saddle mouth shape of the rim which was unique to the Sìwā.</text>
